Information about the event to read:

All entries are due at the BATC office via mail or delivery by deadline (May 20th, 2009) and must have included:

  • One completed entry form for each entry
  • (New Development entries have different forms)
  • Entry fee of $2,995 for each entry (one check is OK, made payable to BATC)
  • Signed Participation Agreement
  • A blueprint of each entry’s front elevation (do not supply a blueprint if you are reusing an elevation from a previous event or you will be providing your own camera-ready art)
  • A copy of the Hudson or Kings map page, or other good, legible map, with your entry location noted for all new entries
  • A copy of your current Minnesota residential contractor license
  • A certificate of liability insurance with coverage through October 4, 2009
  • Remember to label each page you submit with your company name and entry address

Important dates to remember for the Fall ShowcaseSM:

Wednesday, May 20:
Entry Deadline - $2,995 per entry

Mini Tour Advertorial and Dream Home Entry Deadline

Thursday, June 18:
First proofs mailed to builders

Thursday, June 25:
First proofs must be returned to the BATC

Last date to pull a home (entry fee less $100 returned). Written notification must be received by the BATC office on or before this date.

Last chance to substitute or move entries more than one mile (must submit $100 with proof revision form (if BATC has to re-draw your illustration), and Hudson or King map photocopy)

Thursday, July 2:
Builder-submitted camera-ready art due


Friday, July 10:
Advertising sales close

Tuesday, July 14:
Final proofs mailed to builders

Friday, July 17:
Ad materials due

Tuesday, July 21:
Final proofs must be returned to BATC

Deadline to banner "Not Available for Showing"

Deadline to substitute or more entry within the same city

Deadline to change price

Friday, August 28:
Entries live on www.paradeofhomes.org

Guidebook delivery to Holiday StationStores begins

Friday, September 11:

New start day (FRIDAY!) for 2009 Parade of Homes Fall ShowcaseSM

Thursday, September 17 - Sunday, October 4, 2009:
Parade of Homes Fall Showcase
SM continues Thursday - Sunday, 12 noon - 6 pm

Monday, October 5:
Directional signs must be removed by 5pm

Friday, October 16:
Directional signs must be returned to the BATC office on or before this date.


Rules violations:
Remember that the Parade of Homes
SM are the most valuable asset we have, and the rules you have agreed to abide by are in place to ensure its continued success.
