participation on committees. As a member, your participation will benefit
the industry as well as ensuring your voice is heard regarding BATC policies
and programs. Committee chairs or past chairs (at each committee discretion)
serve on the BATC board of directors.

| Associates Committee: A representative voice for the Associate members of BATC, the committee is responsible for the planning and execution of associate programs, including but not limited to the Builders Product and Service Show & Golf Events as well as a driving force for associate members participation in all association programs. |
| Builders Outreach Foundation: The Builders Outreach Foundation, the charitable organization of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities (BATC). It is one of the Builders Outreach Foundation’s goals to provide an opportunity for home ownership to those whose financial condition puts them below the level of publicly subsidized affordable homes. |

| Large Volume Builders Committee: This committee serves as a focus group for industry issues, provides a voice to our large volume builders, and is a way to communicate BATC’s public policy and other initiatives to this group. |
| Membership Committee: The purpose of the BATC Membership Committee is to maintain a strong membership base by developing an ongoing program to contact prospective members, by monitoring and encouraging membership retention, and by recognizing and encouraging the NAHB Spike Club. Ambassadors also acquaint, motivate and inspire new members to take advantage of and participate in all the programs and services available through the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. |
| Parade of HomesSM Committee: The responsibility of the Parade of HomesSM Committee is to oversee the consumer Parade of HomesSM events, from promotion to rules and imposing penalties to maintain the integrity of the events. |
| Parade of Homes Remodelers ShowcaseSM Committee: To plan and implement the Parade of Homes Remodelers ShowcaseSM, a free tour of remodeled homes in the Twin Cities area. |
| Public Policy Committee: It is the purpose of this committee to support the delivery of life-cycle housing by initiating and supporting local and metropolitan ordinances, legislation, programs and policies, that make sensible and cost effective land use practices a priority; promote regulation that is cost effective and minimizes unnecessary regulation; support rational environmental preservation and restoration programs and policies; and consider the market place as the primary force for guiding housing policy that provides housing choices representing the cultural and economic diversity of our association service area. |
